7 Steps To Maximise The Value Of A 360 Project

If you are reading this it’s because you are an independent consultant, coach or facilitator working in the leadership and management development space. Indeed, you may be all three. As well, you may be part of an SME that specialises in providing these services to ‘end-user’ clients.

If on the other hand you are an end-user client – someone who buys the services of independents like those described above – then you shouldn’t be reading this. You’re in the wrong place! Sorry to shut the door on you like this, but by reading further there is a danger that you will see methods that independents find to increase what they charge when delivering 360 degree feedback projects to you. They will of course tell you that this leads to much improved returns on your investment and they will be sincere about that. We are of the belief that all of you only want what’s best for your clients and that will be your primary motivation for learning if you might be leaving money on the table. 360 degree feedback is a learning and development intervention that you’re either using already or you’ve decided not to use. But what if there was more to the intervention than you realised? What if you didn’t know everything there was to know about it? What if there was the faint possibility that there were some things you could still learn, that there was a way it could better fit into your practice? I don’t mean to sound patronising, I really don’t. My spirit of intent is to simply invite you to stay open.

For the last 6 months we’ve been trialling an approach which is currently giving us a 88% increase on last year’s turnover…and we’ve still got 3 months to go! I want to share a current project (still in progress) that started as a less than £5000 opportunity, which is going to top out by the end of March at more than £15,000.
